One of my final projects for Drawing 1 class at college was a 'daily routine' of mine. Most chose to either draw make-up, tooth-brushes, clothes in a drawer, but I chose a more ironic approach and hopefully something that most people wouldn't expect from an eighteen year-old female.
In this picture we have Starscream from Transformers: Animated, my beloved Xbox 360 with the headset, controller, and power cord, my TV playing Halo 3, a coca-cola can, Oreos (one didn't make it through the whole drawing... it takes a lot of will-power to not eat Oreos when they stare you in the face for over ten hours), my Halo 3 case, my 20th Anniversary Edition of the Transformers Movie, my Ninja Gaiden II case (which is the tilted one..) and my personal favorite, the Mountain Dew code red, which has become an essential element in surviving every day college life. So there we go.
Hope you like it! This piece will be hanging up on my wall when I get it back.

Hey Justine, I stopped in to visit Ms Erickson today and she kept bugging me to bring art in to show her. My drawing class is sooo slow. we JUST started shading this week.. and the semester is almost over! i hate shading though... but anyway, how's Kendall? I'm really glad you posted some of your work. It looks great. I love how you made it personal. I'm going to try to post some of my stuff at the end of the semester once i get everything back. GVSU is cool but the profs take FOREVER to hand work back (i have no idea what my grades are) (PS sorry this message is so random)

You just started shading? Wow, that sucks. We started out using only contour lines and still life... thaaaat was slow, but once we got going she all of a sudden shoved value in a full project of subtractive charcoal two-point perspective. We've used value since then. Thankfully my prof is up to date with handing projects and grades back, so that's not something I need to really worry about.
Yea, post some of your work, I'll definitely check it out! 8D And don't worry, it's nice to hear from you and Josh and friends from high school.

the silver membership is free. but in england its £39.99 for a 12 month subscription.

well the silver membership means you can talk to people online and send them messages.
the gold memberships mean you can play online with other people and download stuff like demo's, gamerpic's, theme's, and music video's and hte occasional film.

The shading in this is just...this a weird word to use, but the only word that comes to mind is "tender".
The structure and proportion of the objects are not as well done, but the shading is so awesome, it more than makes up for it.

The Mountain Dew bottle was a 'night before it was due' kinda thing, and some aspects of it are rather rushed. But thank you for pointing it out, I think I'll have to stick with a ruler next time.

I've come to the realization that I suck at multiplayer as well. Without Xbox Live it's difficult to stay at a high level.
