Just on its own without the Lego it would be cool but the Lego piece and how its joined with the colour fading in just makes it so much better.

Definitely the most original piece I have seen in awhile! This brings me back to the days of assembling models and all those parts would come out of the box like this! Very detailed modeling and this looks to be a very cool series! Excellent work!

did you thought about coloring the organs too? not every things in the body is bony-white :\

the idea is to bring spotlight on the one piece of Lego.
Also, from my research, the plastic models that come in trays like this are almost always a similar color. Coloring is left up to the models assembler.
That is how I approached this.

There have been many times I have felt like giving up. just take a break and come back to it when you regain your inspiration. dont be afraid to scrap something if its not working, but definitely take it as far as you can...
I built the lego mini fig schematic twice. the first one was 2 weeks down the tube, but it just wasnt working...
