Description

This last page was oddly upsetting to draw, half because of its subject matter, but also because of a technique I've been using.

It's a technique derived somewhat from Moore, where I induce a notably intense state in myself while I draw, so that that intense state conveys itself in the drawing. That personal intensity is part of why my drawings from earlier this year could get so virtuose, that being one of the notable low points in my own life.

Lastly, the use of Futurist techniques for some of the movement worked much better for conveying motion than traditional cartoon techniques. The one mangaka I can think of whom used Futurist motion techniques would probably be Araki.
