Originally, Fenrir's plan was to stabilize Egla, and then help her find a new home. He even had a family in mind, a pair of loyal customers of his that he knew well enough to believe they would be kind to her. However plans are nothing if not changeable. The extreme and unstable weather of their world delayed their departure from Fenrir's isolated little valley, so that the busy blacksmith brought the little girl on his rounds as he collected resources, mined metals, and hunted beasts for materials for his trade. Slowly but steadily a bond formed between the two, one that Fenrir found he could not break, even if he wanted to.
