I hadn't had much time to draw lately, which explains the lack of submissions throughout August. But I did manage to push my way through one or two images during that time.

Here's to another previous Animal Crossing villager that lived in the New Leaf town of Fenomena. You got to hand it to Maple for not only adoring plush bears to the point she could have more soft toys than me (!), but also looking like one as well. <3 She definitely maintained a lot of cute bear characteristics while still making you feel warm and fuzzy to the touch.

The problem is, you know when you speak to villagers and the first sound you hear is the town tune as heard by the synth associated with the species? Some had subtle variations like having it swung, done in different scales, or even in speed. Both her AND Pekoe had the same characteristics for echoing back the town tune - it was almost as if those two knew each other long before I met them or something...

Anyway, with her love for stuffed toys established, I felt she would just enjoy a nice day outside carrying one of her favorite bears, possibly escorting it to the functions of Main Street. Yes, that is totally Nook Homes in the background, though doing the design as portrayed in Happy Home Designer was a much nicer fit imo. Procreate's new Streamline ability was great when it came to doing more free-handed curves, especially when it came to the cel shading AND my handwriting. I still wish there would be an easier method to go over the pencil work though, haha!

Anyway, that's another villager in there. Next time on this archive, you should be getting my first drawing done ENTIRELY on my new iPad Pro... <3
