This is my first attempt at making a GIF in flash.I have a feeling that if you watch the GIF for some time and then watch the still image, it's like the black outer border is rotating counter-clockwise...
[EDIT] I'm thinking about a new trick I could try: I could make the same GiF but where the outer border stops rotating after a full rotation and where the inner hexagons keep rotating the same way. I'm wondering how the outer border would be perceived.
Would it be static or appear to be turning (counter-)clockwise?
