A giant was just having a little rest while relaxing on the beach. When he felt something on his hand, he opened one of his eyes only to smile in amusement as he secretly watched his little friend attempt to bury him in the sand.Hehe thought this might be cute. ^^ This took me a bit, about 4 hours i think. O.O
Used some textures like for the sand and the water, as well as for his shorts flower pattern.

Same here. I got to the point where the sketch takes just a few minutes where as the coloring takes a few days. I need to get photoshop ASAP.

Yeah...coloring does take a bit longer. Espically if you plan to add alot of detail with the color, and shadows and lights.
