My very first animation short, done for my senior year as a 2D animation student at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal.
Music is an original track composed by Laura Babin-Rioux (I could never thank her enough <3)
One year in the making, around 500 drawings, a lot of sweat and tears... annnnd I'm having such a hard time looking at this now oh god

The fantastic thing about it, in addition to the length, is that in the begining, it displays what is quite usual when you deal with dreams, however as it goes on, you see it is not merely 'about a dream', but about the dreamers too. And there is where the magic lays

This is absolutely fantastic! The colors are so vivid and wonderful, the characters move so fluidly, and of course, the plot is touching.

Such splendid colours! And it took me a few seconds to realise it, but his actual hand was projecting what his dream hand was.

This is where I smiled for real at this piece. I loved the transition from one dreamer to the other. Such a beautiful idea executed with simplicity and grace in a language universal to all peoples: art.

The animation was very fluid. You handled the difficult foreshortenings with ease, or so it looks like. I also liked the colour scheme a lot. Very expressive!

This. is. incredible. WOWWWWW the fluidity in the animation! The character designs! The realism, style, and attention to detail in the background! Not to mention the short and sweet story, no words needed to appreciate the simple emotion in can evoke from any viewer. The perfect music was chosen to this light, airy piece; A wonderful, small masterpiece all its own
