Going back sometime during the Xeron arch. Ace was finally happy to see Ashley again after returning back from his fight with Damian (AKA Prince). He didn’t want to miss another moment with her again after being away training and being prepared to stop Damian for good. So he and her went of a small raft ride just floating in a lake. It was the only way he could have a private moment alone with her after everything they’ve both went through. But this was something they would want to have together.

Ashley: you came all this way back just to see me again?

Ace: I wanted to see the woman I love again more than anything. After what I went through and remembering where I came from sort of reminded me that… if I wasn’t a thief who turned native… I’d probably wouldn’t have met or saved you from that creep.

Ashley: oh Ace… I have to admit. When you were taken away from us it almost broke my heart seeing that raccoon take you. Then you going away after that escape to train was something else. I thought I wouldn’t have seen you again after all of that and hearing you going after Prince.

Ace: you’d be surprised what I went through. Mainly getting my own butt kicked by my past inside a volcano. Learning about my heritage and where I come from. You could even say that I’m also your personal samurai too.

Alice: guess so, but you’ll always be my fox of the jungle.

Ace: and you my white jungle bunny.
