With the lunar eclipse in sight in the jungle. Adsila had a private conversation with Nammu. Especially when her tribe specializes in astronomy. Mainly the phases of the moon, stars, and especially when it comes to both a solar and lunar eclipse.

Adsila: you know something about the eclipse better than I or even your own cousin. I need to know how long will a lunar eclipse normally last.

Nammu: normally on Animus, it only happens once every year. From what we’ve seen and recorded from each one. The shortest lasted for about 9 minutes, but the longest was about 20 minutes about 22 years ago. The same year that Khajida was banished too.

Adsila: but she wasn’t attempting such a thing a long time ago. She was mostly creating a potion to preserve her own body and ago. But it is a temporary thing that required the blood of people dependent on how many years she wishes to revert back from. She used 20 people in order to revert herself back by that many years. She was also 45 back then.

Nammu: that we know of. But the ritual of what my cousin Chaka found stated it required only 2 souls in order to obtain eternal youth. Of course it had to be done during the lunar eclipse.

Adsila: so she doesn’t have a lot of time to stall and waste then. If only Yaotl is capable of preventing her from completing it by the time the eclipse starts and when it ends.

Nammu: I’ll hope he’ll defeat her by then. Because from the looks of it he probably has anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes to prevent her from completing it.

Adsila: he has fought an agent for almost 12 minutes though. I have no doubt that he’ll go a lot longer this time since this is the same woman who killed his father the day she was banished.

Nammu: I have heard a lot about Gato. Sometimes I wished he was one of us or had joined my tribe. But of course he had his reasons for staying with your tribe and helping that forest dog Alejandro.

Adsila: first off he’s a fox. And his son Alakay, he’s rescuing someone very important at the moment. Both of them are in a very difficult moment right now since they are both dragged into this because of Khajida.

Nammu: we’ll be keeping an eye out on the moon. We have a special hawk watching everything going on where at those ruins. A specific one fast enough to let us know if she is defeated or not. If I remember your bet with Zabu, it was if she escapes and becomes whole again. You’d be his property. Of course your friend doesn’t have to defeat them. They just have to stop her from completing it while the eclipse is out.
