After looking down to see where Yuki had fallen after the impact he had with the statue. Alex was relieved to see that he landed in a water hole that looked like a miniature oasis. It was clear that he survived both the crash and the fall.

Alex’s head: we did it. He’s out cold and alive. Thank goodness he survived such a blow in such directions to his body, but he’ll be fine.

Xio: judging by how much power we gave and how hard of a hit he’d have taken. I say he’ll be out for almost the whole night.

Alex’s head: I know that if we defeat his mother Khajida, we can extinguish the dark contract burning in his heart. If only there was away we can put it out without fighting her.

Xio: there is no way out of them unless something violates the contract between the caster and the person who has received it. I have tried before a few times just to see, but those are the only way the contract can be revoked from the person who is under its flames. Unless we defeat her, he’ll be back up and ready to take us on again. I suggest we go after that witches head while we still can.

Alex’s head: I trust Yaotl, after all he has more personal matters to deal with her. Right now I have to find Alice and Damian while we still can. I have to free them fast, cause take a look at the sky.
