Description
Ulfric Stormcloak, is now dead by the hands of the Dragonborn as requested. The Imperial Legion has now reclaimed and plan on restoring order to Skyrim. However, on a more personal matter for the young war hero who ended the civil war in the homeland of the Nords. Haku, quickly rushed back to the camp and ditched his uniform after suffering heavy damage in the battle of Windhelm. He still had the tunic given to him by the imperial army since he really didn’t had much clothing to begin with. Plus would have been more refreshing to have Irtra see him without the uniform on so she knows that his service would be over for now.he thought that surprising her would have been special just as the night he made about almost two months ago since he joined in this war. He had to tell her that since the war is over, and how much contribution he had taken during each battlefield. That he would have been promoted from a soldier to a captain.
in her eyes she only could let out some tears of seeing Haku, back from such a violent battle she had heard so much about from other soldiers who survived the final battle of the civil war. And seeing him back was worth the waterworks she’s having right now just seeing him on his own two feet intact.
==========
Irtra: *sobs* you came back to me.
Haku: it’s okay now. We did it. The war is over.
Irtra: what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be promoted to a captain tomorrow?
Haku: maybe, but I made a special request with the general.
Irtra: is it what I think it is?
Haku: he has agreed to let me have you. After all you were considered more military property than anything else. At least one assigned to his armed forces under his rule. Plus he doesn’t seem anything wrong about loosing one slave.
Irtra: so I’ll be freed once I’m yours then.
Haku: it does. Plus I’m seeing a house just near the south west near the border between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. I figured getting away from the cities is best since I’ll probably have a few surviving rebels after me.
Irtra: your really think that is a good idea? I mean being away from any major cities here, for the open wilderness?
Haku: nothing wrong with a little bit of fresh air and living off the land. I used to work on a farm most of my childhood. Plus be a great way to get away from whatever else happened during the war.
Irtra: something happened that you saw?
Haku: really didn’t want to talk about it, but a lot of people we knew about who lived in Solitude, we saw gave their lives to help me. One of them I promised to give an amulet back to their family to remember them by. He was a great soldier who fought for his country, but a more noble man who fought for his little brother.
Irtra: is that’s what’s bothering you? Knowing someone you knew in battle, and seeing what it was they’d left behind?
Haku: I remembered part of the reason why I joined this war was to get some revenge against those damn Nord’s that tortured me, and tried to kill me. Honestly my reason for joining was nowhere near as good of a cause as theirs was. He had a family, and they’d lost him. I have no idea where mines is and how far away I am from wherever they’re at. Heck I have no clue if they’re still alive or what. If I were to have died in any battlefield they’d probably would never have known, but that man died in the very soil he was born on. And his family can never hear or see him again.
Irtra: this may not have been my first war we’ve seen, but I know what it’s like to see a fellow soldier or someone we knew die in battle. After all I am from another continent too just like you. The both of us may not be normal khajiit, like the ones you’ve seen traveling across the roads in caravans here in this country. But even I know what it’s like to not have a family to comeback home to, more than one ways in my travels across Tamriel. Never really had one of my own since I was a little girl from another place just like you. Got captured and sold to the empire to be their personal maid. All I knew was the jungle’s of my homeland and the animals I knew in the wild…
Haku: well think of it this way. It’s like being in the wilderness, just a little bit different is all from whatever it might have looked like. I have no idea what the continent you grew up in looked like or what a jungle is supposed to be, but I can at least give you a home we can have together here. After all I have heard word about seeing the Khajiit’s country of Elsweyr, and I might consider seeing it myself and was hoping to take you along with me to see it. I mean a country of cats like us… it sounds like the perfect place to be in for us. Even if it was just a diplomatic trip down there. I’d think it also be perfect for the both of us to be with other’s like us too.
Irtra: you think the emperor would allow you to be stationed at such a place? It’s not even apart of the empire to begin with.
Haku: I’m sure we’ll figure something out somehow. But one things for sure, is that there’s no one else I’d liked to be with in this world no matter where we’d be. Tamriel, Akavir, Ravendal, I can care less wherever we may end up. As long as I have you, it’ll be all a need.
Irtra: Haku…
==========
it wouldn’t be long until they made a move on one another as they’ve began to kiss each other more. As things really began to spike up a bit between them, they were unaware of their surroundings as they were very close to really getting more intense between them. That they’d almost made out more ways than one as they soon noticed that they weren’t alone as a few fellow soldiers could almost see everything happening between them from a distance. May have ruined the mood, but they were at least able to come clean about their feelings towards one another for now.
the next morning, Haku would have returned to Solitude. And soon have been promoted to a captain after his service in the battle for Skyrim, and helping put an end to the civil war that had happened due to Ulfric. Order would slowly be restored to the lands of Skyrim, but until then. Haku, has been given orders to eliminate any remaining Stormcloak rebels stationed around the country. Of course he would have no problem dealing with them since he has his own shouts and strength to deal with an entire camp.
after his promotion to captain by General Tullius, he would have begun his construction of a private manor in the woodlands of “Falkreath”, where he would have all the privacy that he and Irtra could have as he takes her as his own wife. Living off the land didn’t sound so bad, but it was something they could have together and get away from the troubles of the country at the time. Until the two of them could find an opportunity to travel and see the great sands and tropics of Elsweyr, they might as well start things off in Skyrim, and begin their new free life away from service and other troubles that still happened in the country itself.

this one really took longer than originally planned to. Yet we’ve finally written the last few parts of this AU love story between Haku and Irtra, in the land of Skyrim.
this one was the longest to write down when it came to writers block, and of course trying to come up with something from the games and story. While trying to come up with something a bit original from our end of the story.
there is a bonus alternative ending for this, but that one is still on the works, so please be patient and wait until you can see/read the alternate ending in the story.

both characters are own by me.
