Haku had survived many battles in the war so far, and even helped claiming the jagged crown too that was in an ancient tomb. Before the Stormcloak’s could have gotten their hands on it for Ulfric. He’s even made a name for himself in many battles to have even the enemy forces put up a bounty on his head for the many victories he had brought to the Imperial Legion. But he also never forgot the many reasons why he joined the war to begin with.
his biggest reason now was to comeback to Irtra in one piece once this war is over. As he had promised that he would free her from slavery, and be together with her. He wasn’t sure if Tullius would allow him this request to have Irtra has his, but he has an idea a bit just in case. But in the meantime, Haku couldn’t just go off yet into the final hours of the war. Not without having one last chance to tell Irtra how he felt about her.
without a second of a thought. The two of them came close from a simple hug, to what would have been their first kiss together. Haku’s first kiss with anyone, and the same with Irtra. This would have been a sealing promise that he would make her free and take her as his when the war is over.
Haku went from being a dragon slayer, to a soldier, and now he is ready for the final battle of the civil war. And once it’s over, he’ll do whatever he can to make her free just as he is too. Even if he had to run away with her and deserted his military duties forever. It would have been worth it in the end if it means both him and Irtra, could be together forever no matter where they’d go from here on out.
