Shield in color!Recap on story...
So basically this is one of those random concepts that wouldn't leave my mind until I put it down. I've had this idea of creating some kind of amoeba shell around a girl for some time now, but thought it was missing something... SO- I threw in some tattoos, bullets, forks, and a separated brain to accommodate the issue.
The shield derives from the girl's tattoos. She can control its form allowing her to attack or protect. The main holdback is that every time she uses it, her brain is expelled from her body, and floats in a fragile amniotic orb where it is susceptible to damage or being pulled too far away from her- causing her to go brain dead.

this is an awesome concept, but i feel like the separated brain would seriously screw her over in a fight with an enemy of decent power. I feel like the brain should have more of a fighting chance.
Besides that, i realy like the random fork.

ur dust clowds idk it just looks like they were randomly tossed in there, i think u could do better on that by placing them a lil better in sertain spots. also i was wonderin y there were more than two types of trible wepons, like the spear n the ninja star...not to mention the spoon, or fork, which is a nice toutch

I completely agree with you on the clouds. One of my co-workers made the same comment. As for the mix of weapons, I was going for all/any random weapons with the intention to symbolize a wide variety of "problems" she has to fend off. Thank you for the feed back- I really appreciate it

If you made a comic around this character (YOU, with your art - I'm not generally a fan of American comic art styles), I would totally pay to read it.
I think, though, that her hand is maybe not totally in the right spot? It looks like (at least the way I'm looking at it...) she's got the main surface of her palm pointed just a bit to the right (from the onlooker's perspective) of where a significant portion of shield just popped up (and, apparently, the main force of the attack), so when I was looking at this more carefully (after the initial HOLYZOMG THIS IS AW3SUM), I thought, "isn't she kinda exposed on that side?" I don't think I would have thought this if her stance were more definitively directed at that side with all the weapons sticking out of it.
...sorry, I'm a writer, not an artist, so the only thing I ever really *see* in any piece of art is the story. It's what I gravitate to, and what I comment on. Sorry if it's irrelevant...
