I liked the contrast between the last couple drawings I've done, the colour palettes and the looks of the characters - similar expressions but different states of beings.

I thought I'd throw this up in scraps just for comparison's sake.

Avrianthe is on the left, he's a sun bird, which means he functions best during the day and draws strength from the sunshine.

Molly is on the right, he's a moon bird, which means he functions best during the night and draws strength from the moonlight.

Kind of a cool contrast.
