here's a game show that many of you don't remember (except a few of us who like them a lot, like me). This is the player's area for the Dick Clark-hosted (and produced) retooling of the 1970s game show "The Who, What or Where Game" known as "The Challengers".

Of note, is that the game show was unique for its time in that 1) all winnings were paid out in a Citibank Visa credit card (which could be converted to cash) 2) the show was taped on the same day it aired, because of the fact that many of the questions were related to current events, and question used on the show were verified by Newsweek, as pointed out by announcer Don Morrow.

The opening spiel (as announced by Don Morrow, but I wish Charlie Tuna worked on this show, this is only an example): "Today is Monday, August 17, 2015. This is Noby Nobita (Ed. Note: From Doraemon), he is 2 steps away from an Ultimate Challenge worth $60,000! He returns with $11,950. This is a high school student, Chester McTech (from Beverly Hills Teens), and this is a college student, Setsuna Meioh (from Sailor Moon). Noby is the champion, Chester and Setsuna, you are... 'THE CHALLENGERS'! And now here's your master of the challenge, JOHNNY GARFIELD!"
