The reference sheet to my fan tribe called the ElectroWings!

This is an open tribe!! But please credit me in your description. Thank you.

Description:

ElectroWings can come in shades from bright white to really dark gray. Very rare for them to come in black or with spots with different shade. The color is also random, not genetic. Females have purple wings, talons, and tail tip while males have blue. Cyan underbelly and wing membrane. Royal ElectroWings’ tails fade to gray. Each Electro has a unique pattern of gold spots and stripes on their face. They also have gold freckles all over their face, legs, wings, and tail. They have four wings and on each wing, there is a unique pattern of lightning strikes. Their tails are jagged and lightning bolt shaped, along with their horns and underbelly. Their horns and spines that go down their back, are golden colored. There is also a little spike on their nose. In between the lightning horns, there is a spike that starts the webbing down their back, which is semi-transparent and gray. The “whites” of their eyes are black. When Electros use their electricity, the “blacks” of their eyes turn white. Their eye color can also turn to a pale blue if the electricity is really strong.

Abilities:

ElectroWings clap their big and small wings together to make a small thunderstorm around them that lasts for about 10 minutes. The thunderstorms happen within 10 meters of the creator. They can make lightning come out of their talons. They can use that lighting to shock someone from 1 meter away. The Electros that are pure white and super light gray seem to glow and give off light in the dark. They can see in the dark. They have a high cold tolerance due to living in the mountains. They can also survive in extreme heat for about 6 hours before needing to drink water and hide in the shade for 5 minutes. This is due to them have electricity running through them at all times. A few have been able to control the weather. The only known dragons that can do this, are the queen and 3 of her guards. It is rumored that Princess Cyclone can do it too, but it is unknown for now

Kingdom:

They currently live in the mountains and caves of abandoned mines northwest of the Tsetse Hive. Before the War Era (see ‘Important Dragons’) they lived near Lake Scorpion and the surrounding area.

Royalty:

They are ruled by Queen Quartz. The king is King Thunder. Their children are Prince Strike, Princess Cyclone (twin of Strike), Prince Cloud, and Princess Raindrop.

Names:

They are named after their colors, weather, the sky, and electricity

Animus Dragons:

The ElectroWings don’t have any animus dragons. This is because they kill any dragonets born with the magic. The way they find out if they have magic, is that they do a test like the SeaWings when the dragonet is 6 months old. The reason that the Electros don’t like animus magic, is because, 2000 years before TLC, there was an animus. She loved showing off her power to others. One day, she snapped. She killed the queen and her dragonets and took the throne for herself. The only heir left was the first queen’s youngest sister. They were under the rein of the corrupt queen for 15 long years before the old queen’s sister challenged her for the throne. She won and made it a law that all dragonets were to be tested when they were 6 months old. They were then to be kill if they were animus to prevent anything like that from happening again. Even royals have to be killed. She didn’t like it, but it had to be done. They don’t actually kill the dragonet, they only say that. They actually take them and give them these bracelets that are animus touched to hide their magic and slightly change their appearance while they wear them. The bracelets also can NEVER come off. Along with hide the magic and change the look of the dragon, they are cursed to never be able to be taken off. They are then forced to live in the castle. They are given very good jobs and really like it.

“Queen” Frost~ Corrupted queen that killed Violet and started many long wars. This was known as the War Era.

Queen Snowstorm~ Challenged Frost and made the Animus law

Lightning~ Found new home for Electros after they got kicked out of their old territory during a war caused by Frost.

Backstory:

The ElectroWings were the most successful tribe during the Scorching, they claimed the most land during that time, and had the most treasure too. They lived near Jade Mountain and the surrounding area, spreading out into the desert, rainforest, and marsh. They had a nice life there. But when the LeafWings and the BeetleWings decided to leave and find a better place to live, half of the ElectroWings thought it would be good to go with them, and the other half wanted to stay. When the half that wanted to leave left, it left the other half without a queen. They became weak and vulnerable to attack. Some actually left to find the others, but ended up getting lost, coming back, or dying. Only 12, out of the 30 dragons that left, succeeded in finding the others. A few years later, a huge war broke out between all 12 tribes living in Pyrrhia. After a few years into the war, the CaveWings, the DeepWings, the ForestWings, and the FlameWings left and went east to find another land and were then erased from history. About a year later, the remaining Electros died out. Life on Pantala was not all sunshine and rainbows for the Electros though. 2/3 of the ones that left made it to the new land, same with the other two tribes. All of them survived through the Legend of the Hive period. All three tribes lived in peace for about 3000 years, then Frost took the throne. Frost was an animus ElectroWing. She loved showing off her power to the other Electros, because they didn’t have that many animi throughout their history. She was one of the higher ranked ElectroWings and lived in the palace. On her hatching day, Queen Violet threw a huge party to celebrate. Everyone that lived in the palace was invited. One week before this event, Frost used her power to give a gift to the Electros, like the IceWings do. her gift was the gift of . . .. After using that much of her power, she snapped and became evil. She went to the party and acted completely normal. Then a few hours later, she killed the Queen. After that she went after the queen’s family, killing the king, her older brother and two of her younger sisters, and all her dragonets. A few other dragons were killed also. The only royal survivor was Queen Violet’s youngest sister, who went into hiding before Frost could get to her. Snowstorm was only three, so she couldn’t be queen yet. Frost then took throne for herself. The way Electros change queens is that they fight the old queen. But they don’t kill each other, instead they defeat each other by trying to make the other one tired, without using their lightning. Snowstorm hid within the castle, but Frost could never find her. She ruled for 15 very long years. She used her animus magic and killed the BeetleWings and the LeafWings queen’s most recent eggs. This started a minor war between all three tribes. That war lasted 4 years. There was a 5-year time of “peace”. Then Frost decided that it was a great idea to go after the other queen. She killed the BeetleWing’s queen. Princess Shimmer took her mother’s throne and declared war on the Electros. Frost only injured the LeafWing queen, and they joined the war. The war was still raging (6 years later) when Snowstorm challenged Queen Frost for the throne. She won by killing Frost. Queen Snowstorm tried to end the war but failed. It ended up lasting for 10 total years. At year 9, the other queens succeeded in driving out the ElectroWings from their territory by Lake Scorpion. Lightning, a high-rank guard, found them a new home in the mountains, northwest of their old kingdom, on the Wing Peninsula. Two years later, Queen Snowstorm married Rainstorm, who had the most powerful Weatherspeak of this time, and he became king. There was a law in place saying that royals had to marry the dragon with the best weatherspeak. But many have broken that rule. She then made the Animus Law. Cloudspeaker, a good animus, gave the Electros the Gift of Secrets, which was a group of 4 silver and gold chain bracelets that were enchanted to hide the wearers animus magic, change their appearance slightly, and never allow them to be taken off. He made them in order to stop them from killing the animus dragonets. Some BeetleWings ran away to go to the other continent, which the DeepWings and the other tribes were on. They did this to protect the tribe before they became the SilkWings and the HiveWings. There are still pure-blood BeetleWings there today.

Not many important things happened in between this and the current time.

The newest queen, Queen Quartz, had a daughter that was named Princess Indigo. She was an animus, and the entire tribe knew that. Quartz didn’t want to give her a bracelet, because she is the queen and can do whatever she wants to. Indigo used her magic a lot but had a soul spell on. The tribe thought that she would turn evil. Someone was sent to kill her. They did and the queen had them killed immediately. This is why she keeps Cyclone locked up, she is afraid the same thing will happen to her.

DISCLAIMER!! You may see that there are other non-canon tribes mentioned in there. I am working on some of them. Others have names that other people have used. I made this before realizing that. If anyone wants me to change the names, I will. I was going to make refs for them, but I won’t if they get changed. I will make it for the new tribes instead.
