This topic is unfortunately always topical and currently occupies me again strengthened since the cutting down of trees where i live continues again. Even trees that are certainly over 100 years as are simply cut down as if that had no meaning. Yesterday i saw that someone has placed grave lights on one of the tree stumps which i found very fitting and beautiful, even if sad. I wanted to capture this necessarily painterly. It is simply sad that money always counts more than plants, animals, nature and life itself. It hurts to have to watch this. I can't imagine what it must be like to see the rainforest disappear.
