Description

A great strategy game based on then current military events of the early 2000s (translation: take virtual revenge on terrorists for 9/11, kick the USA while she's down using the GLA or zerg rush the terrans with China). I have no experience with the original C&C, but I hear it has quite the following. In most cases, fans of the original were unhappy with the direction Electronic Arts wanted to go with the franchise. An online game was supposed to come out a few years ago, but was scrapped do to lack of interest (thanks for making it 10 years late assholes). So fans of Generals (like us) are EA's red headed stepchildren essentially. And should be glad Momma EA spread her legs for the original Generals and its DLC Zero Hour.

Funfact: You may wonder why the U.S. forces in the intro are having such an easy time fending off the enemy. Directly following 9/11, America was the world's cute girl with a black eye and even the GLA was pulling it's punches then.
