No thats not the creepy part. The real creepy isn't creepy because if you are scared or put off and close the book, windows, mind you'll never know the truth. The truth is there are no coincidences in media, but only the very rare case where the content is entirely original. After that everything is consciously or unconsciously referenced, pillaged or remade. With a little bit of critical thinking you can see it's dark heart immediately and stop deluding yourself by thinking it was "maybe just a coincidence". Barring that you can look past the whole distraction from reality that is the media and look at the real world's coincidences and realize that in the universe, coincidences are statistically bound to happen. When you take in the fact that humans have been ruled over, kept in the dark and lied to for thousands of years. Thats when coincidences arise, and they have more of a chance of being purposely manipulated than random chance. At the very least to placate you, the more common and sinister intent to corrupt and sub-verse.
