This is my first ever time drawing Blades, and I haven’t drawn this tall-ass goof of a monster since Pirate Day.
When I got to the episode with the robo-shark and Blades was all pirate-like, I thought “You know which of mine would appreciate this? Captain Seismicwave.”
Seriously, I love Seis. Don’t let the sharp teeth and claws and black habiliments fool you; he’s a great guy to hang around with. He’s got stories by the truck load. He treats his crew like people. He shares his spoils. The fucking ship has a library! He’s adopted a few organics into his crew from time to time, the oldest one being the chef.
But really, if he was a mean pirate dude, he’d snatch the hat back and stare Blades down to the ground for even touching it. But no. He’s nice. He’ll let the kid have his fun.
[In my mind the Rescue Bots are actually pretty short compared to Cybertronians, so that’s why Seis is a friggin’ tower. As if he wasn’t tall enough!]
I’m thinking of putting up an ask-capn-seis blog, but I need more people to be in on his story. I’ll try to make more of this guy, but I also have comic pages and fanfics and school and ugh.
