Description
Mint was once part of a mercenary group hired to hunt down a specific individual. A man from a rival company. They came close to succeeding when they realized Mint's technology was worth more credits than the target's head, changing their mind at the last second to betray her and attempt to leave with the profits and Mint's ship; even killing their hire. Unknown to them, Mint actually survived and the target had also hired an assassin knowing he'd be hunted down. Almost immediately before they could escape, Solidus came to the scene and killed them.

Although she was meant to assassinate all the mercenaries on sight, Solidus found Mint and either felt pity for her or assumed she was an innocent, rescuing her from the wreckage and patching her up. Even though Solidus doesn't talk and is incredibly hard to read, the two became close companions and often work with each other. ^^
