I was studying aeroplanes previous to doing this one, helped a lot I think! I also looked at John Wallin's art while doing it.. specifically one of his halo 4 paintings!

Thanks OlliSiponkoski! I think it's all about the balance between sketch and final, trying to keep the dynamicness of the sketch but still having clear and informative shapes and brushstrokes
