i dont get how its come out so dark..ive got a 8b i use and its not as dark...whats bristol paper like.. that might be why?

I'm really sorry, I don't know what Bristol paper it is...I boulght it in an artshop, it was huuuge, they didn't have it in A4 so it was 9 times bigger than an A4 paper, I had to cut it into smaller pieces.
How I make it to dark? YOu really have to impress the pencil on the paper,and do it slowly, drawing only a very litle area at a time, until you don't see any little white dots!! But of course you can make it darker in a photo editor as well, put on more contrast or try something else, if it doesn't turn out enough dark!
