There's one part I do not understand. It's the iris color-changing part. What are the steps to doing it? (I'm a beginner at this, sorry.)

how did u get such a lovely gradient over the iris?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ftourini In reply to Pfundner [2008-06-03 17:54:01 +0000 UTC]
if you know some options of the gradient tools easy! there are many modes: linear, radial, and angle gradient. i chose angle gradient and put many colors on it. i cant explain it with other words
i dont know if you undestand me

Such a nice and interesting shot! I have one question: Did you use a two-side mascara to paint the lashes? And then you only added the white side or something?

See, this is the image I found you through, because it's so amazing, but I knew something about it was off and I couldn't figure out what it was because I assumed it was just one image tinkered with. The iris that you took from the second one is a might too big in comparison to the original. I'm not positive if that was what you were going for since it's such an intense image anyway, but just something to keep in the back of your mind if it wasn't. Either way the composition and added effects are still to die for on this piece.
