Great job on the owl, the colors and everything used are very good. I agree w/limnersphere that the tree is the weaker part of the drawing. I think it looks a bit to soft. But I really like it and congrats on the silver key!

So it really comes down to a very basic choice that we must make as a civilization:
Either we will learn to bury the anomosities of our ethocentric, militant traditions and come to understand that earths survival depends on our collective unified participation,
or we will sustain this cycle of violence and revenge until humanity is returned to the status of primitivity and earth reduced to the rubble of antiquity.

The owl itself looks photo-realistic. The Tree trunk however does not have the same level of detail and texture. None-the-less this is an impressive piece of work. The owl looks very annoyed with whomever woke it from it's sleep.

I loved the scratchboard wolves, and the owl is no exception.. I love the detail and the colour. Its absolutely amazing!

Wow! I know how difficult scratchboard is, at least for me. I had to do a scratchboard assignment in college and even though I got a decent grade on it, I thought I did a miserable job. This is incredible!
