Am I the only person that really enjoyed the 2003 version of the 5th Laboratory? It felt so rushed in Brotherhood (although I know that BH had a larger story to tell, while in 03, this was a pivotal moment in the show) The red glow, the creepy transmutation circles, Tucker, the fact that AL almost died, ahh good anime.

The dark circles under Ed's eyes in this scene were creepy as hell. It showed that Ed does have a dark side, which is a very important trait, as no character should be perfect.
