This is really well done; I love the variety in the application of the paint – the various marks you’ve used with the more general large painterly smears in the torso contrasting with the slightly more detailed shapes in the face. I also love the mottling of colour, with some bright sparkles of colour across the face and chest contrasting with the more sombre majority. That and the repetitions of similar hues - the blue in the background and the red of the lips repeated subtly in the body.
The only thing I’d say in terms of criticism would be perhaps the painting is a little too general as a whole – some more detail perhaps would enhance the image somewhat. All I think it needs is just a touch (only a touch) more detail in the eyes, the natural focal point of a portrait, and I think it will become a more forceful and accessible image - less esoteric perhaps. More clear.
