Description
The story of Croatia is long and tulmotous. After living through a rocky 20th century, Croatia joined the EU in 2013., where it started to prosper, growing into a real economic tiger of the region. Croats soon discovered a website called ‘Reddit’, and it’s dark corner of r/imaginarymaps, where a small community of bitter teens posted edgy irredentist maps of their countries.
It was not long until Croats discovered that r/imaginarymaps, while offering a release valve for your real life frustrations in a form of glorifying your nation, it was not ruled justly. It was filled with Italians who oversaturated the sub with constant ‘Greater Italy’ maps. And everyone has had it with their bullshit.
So it Came upon Croatia to organize the Anti-italian Alliance. It was agreed that (mostly because of very sneaky and very succesful Croat diplomacy), because the Italians kept taking Croatian clay in their stupid maps, Croatia will get all of the Mediterranean coast in Europe, just to fuck with the Italians.
And so it was, the ultimate manifest destiny - The Longest Republic of Croatia was born. It wasn’t the richest, it wasnt the biggest, but it damn sure was the longest. Also, by an unlucky coincidence, because everyone forgot to invite Bosnia and Herzegovina to the secret meeting (because everyone forgot they had a coast), it was not included in the making of the final treaty, and in turn it now had the second longest coast in the Mediterranean, after Croatia, of course.
