Description I don't know if I would consider this fan art because of the inclusion of an existing fictional character, but this is a bit more original and personal than a lot of my other drawings. Since Blue's Clues is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, I thought I'd draw something to pay tribute to it. And I also included my older brother in this one too. Blue's Clues was a part of my childhood, and a lot of fond memories from that time were with my brother, thus the inspiration of this drawing.

Blue's Clues was a show our whole family enjoyed when the original series was on. We were fans of Steve, but I also liked Joe and didn't mind him either (although there's just something real special about the OG presenter with the striped green shirt). I will admit that I sometimes still listen to a few songs from Blue's Big Musical Movie, because I still have the soundtrack (fun fact: the late Ray Charles was in that film as the G-clef). My brother and I both grew into amazing adults, so I had to include our current and childhood selves in this one. With the revival premiering nearly two years ago, imagine the excitement I felt for this generation of children getting to experience this same sense of nostalgia that 90s/2000s kids like myself and my bro had when the series was at its prime. Not to mention how happy I was to see Joe AND Steve come back in a few surprise guest roles (the new host Josh is their cousin). It just makes me happy that kids in this modern generation are also introduced to figures from the original series. UGH, Blue's Clues, you're freaking amazing.

This drawing took longer than expected, but because of school, drawings might be slow this year. I still wanted to post this before the end of the month too. I am very much proud of this one, especially with personal art like this. This is also my first time drawing my older brother (aside from past childhood drawings), so I had to capture his likeness, both as a kid and adult. I was most nervous about doing his hair and facial hair, but I think they came out alright. I'm also happy how Blue came out. And since Blue is computer animated in the revival, she's a lot more detailed than she was in 2-D, so that means fur. I decided to combine the two styles when I drew Blue. And yeah, I gave her a collar too. I don't remember if we saw her with one, but I gave her a green collar because of Steve. The handy-dandy notebooks and crayons provided for our younger selves to play one last game are also similar to the one Steve uses. I don't remember if we had our own handy-dandy notebooks, but I do remember a kid-sized inflatable Thinking Chair. Ugh, someone take me back to the 2000s please!
