Here is a close-up image of the new (and hopefully the final) version of my TMNT fanfiction, "Beauty and Dangerous", staring the Ninja Turtles, Karai, Splinter and my OC Alexander. It takes place around mid-Season 3, in particular, either after the episode "Clash of the Mutanimals", or after "Meet Mondo Gecko" (it's really up to the reader to decide), and it's also set before "The Deadly Venom". This fanfiction is set in the TMNT 2012 TV series universe.

The title of this fanfiction has some inspiration from a lyric from one of the songs from Disney's "Brother Bear" ("Great Spirits"). However, the title really comes from the 2015 music album, "Of Beauty and Rage", from the band RED, which comes from one of the lyrics from their song "Yours Again". I just kinda twisted the title up while plotting the story over three years ago.

The original story was published back in mid 2015, but I decided to rewrite it mainly due to changes of plot (I was originally gonna include Faybelle Thorn from "Ever After High", but I figured out that it wouldn't tie into the actual plot). I was able to publish the prologue of the rewrite in late April 2017, but the first part of the story wasn't published until early December 2017.

The story is about Alex and how he has to overcome the struggles of his past when he must face a dangerous supernatural force who plots to corrupt his world. Now he and his siblings must venture to the mysterious Spirit Realm to find answers to resolve the conflict, as well as questions Alex has about his past, powers and destiny.

This is the third time I've made this cover image. The first had all different images of the Turtles, Alex and Karai, as well as the inclusion of Faybelle for she was meant to be in the original story, but it was also cluttered. The second was made before the remake was published, with new images of everyone, as well as the edition of the Deer spirit from the "Vision Quest" episode, but it was missing the TMNT series logo. The third, and current image, has all of the Turtles and Alex (with Donnie, Raph and Mikey having newer images), and the inclusion of Karai in between her forms, Master Splinter, and the TMNT 2012 series logo.
