Over the past few months I've occasionally caught glimpses of what looked like a bird of prey wheeling overhead in the sky near my house. It's always been quite high and never stayed for long. I finally managed to get a few photos of it and it's clearly a Red Kite.They're beautiful birds, and it's lovely to get a good view of one in flight (I've photographed one which was on static display before).
