Chapter 2: The Ultimate New Threat Part 1

"Mmmm...", Spongebob mumbled as he was passed out. "Krraaaabbbbyyy ppaaaaattiiieeess. NO! NO NEMATODES! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!"

"Spongebob, get up! We got a situation!" Danny shouted at the sponge who started to open his eyes.

"Huh, wha-," When Spongebob vision cleared he saw that he and his friends were no longer in the syndicates lair but in the middle of a four way intersection in a big city surrounded by cars at night. Humans were covering the sidewalk. They all stood there with blank expressions on there faces.

"What's going on?" Timmy asked. "Where are we?"

"I don't know," Jimmy said pressing a button on his watch. "I'll see what I-," He stopped and looked up when he heard rockets in the air. "Huh?" He and the Nicktoons looked up.

They saw people coming down from the sky. They were dressed in blue metal armor with a weird black and white bird symbol on the chest, a belt, and a blue helmet with a black visor. They all had jetpacks on and were holding a gun.

When they touched the ground they all pointed their guns at the Nicktoons. "Children," one of the soldiers said in a male voice, "Stay where you are and prepare to be boarded on the S.H.E.I.L.D. tricarrier."

Suddenly the sky filled up with a blinding light which everyone, except the soldiers, close their eyes. They looked up to see four headlights attached to the bottom of a giant metal flying machine.

The Nicktoons were apaged. They didn't know what to do or say. "Jimmy," Tak whispered, "what do we do?"

Jimmy thought for a second and finally said, "Nicktoons...", he said. The team looked at him for his answer. Jimmy took a deep breathe and finally said, "Surrender." He raised his arms in the air.

"WHAT?!" his team said. "We're the Nicktoons! We never surrender! Ever!" Timmy said with his arms crossed.

"Look guys," Jimmy said, "I don't like it anymore than you do. But we have no idea where we are, where our friends are, or where the syndicate is. If we go with these guys, explain the situation, we might be able to figure this thing out."

The Nicktoons looked at each other for a second. They sighed and raised their hands.

"This. Sucks." Timmy said.

"Impressive lab you have here, doctor." Professor Calamitous said to a pale man with long black hair and goggles, wearing a grey suit with a metal device on his upper body which, out of the back, four robotic tentacles were attached which the man used to walk.

"Why, thank you professor." The tentacled man said. He and the syndicate were deep in an underground laboratory. There was a computer with a giant monitor with a long keyboard attached. Next to it, to the right there was a table beneath a few shelves. Each had small containers each with different colored liquid inside. Some had organisms floating inside. In the far back there was a human sized dissection table with machine behind it. Tentacles were attached to the ceiling as well.

Beautiful Gorgeous looked around and got a disgusted look. "You call this home." she said.

"indeed. But we are not here to discuss my living environment." The tentacled man said. "You have something that of great power you said."

"Yes. Of course." Calamitous said. He pulled out the blue gem from before out of his pocket. The tentacled man lowered himself and admired the gem. "I don't know how or why, but this gemstone, along with six others like it with different colors, opened a wormhole in our lab that brought us into the sewer your robots found us in." As Calamitous this, Crocker took off his shoe and poured out the sewage inside it and Vlad squeezed green water out of his cape. "Perhaps together we can discover a way to harness the gem's power."

The tentacled man got an evil grin. "I agree with you, professor." He said. "And I think I know the perfect way."

"Excellent." Calamitous said. "I look forward to our work mister..."

"Please," The tentacled man said, "call me Dr. Otto Octavious."

"So let me see if I understand this." A man said to Jimmy Neutron. He was African American, bald, had a black mustache that formed a beard on his chin, and had an eye-patch on his left eye. He wore a black shirt, black pants, black boots, and a black jacket that went all the way to his legs. "You and your four friends here are inter dimensional heroes who came here through a portal that was created after your enemies failed to use seven gems in a laser to destroy you and that your enemies, your friends, the gems, and yourselves were sucked into."

"Yes, exactly." Jimmy Neutron said. The man in black, the Nicktoons, and four men in the blue uniforms were in a metal room with cameras hanging from the ceiling, and a large, conference like, table that the man in black and the Nicktoons were sitting at (the men in the blue uniforms were blocking the exits to the room). The Nicktoons were all wearing handcuffs. "I know it's a hard story to believe," Jimmy said "But it's the truth."

"I probably shouldn't believe it," the man in black said, "but I live in a world where hammer-wielding gods, man in super advanced suits, and green rage monsters exist."

"Wow. This world sounds more messed up then ours." Timmy said.

"By the way sir," Tak said, "Who are you?"

The man in black stood up. "Nick Fury: Director of Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division."

"That's a mouthful." Danny said.

"You can just call us S.H.I.E.L.D." Nick said.

"Okay then." Jimmy said. "I'm Jimmy Neutron: Boy genius and leader of the team."

"I'm Danny Phantom." Danny said. "Ghost fighter and expert."

"I'm Timmy Turner." Timmy said. "Magic wielder and expert."

"I'm Tak of the Pupununu people." Tak said. "Juju wielder and expert."

"I'm Spongebob Suarepants." Spongebob said. "Karate fighter, super bubble blower, jellyfisher and expert, fry cook, and sponge with sponge like abilities."

"Why does he get the most stuff on the team?" Timmy asked.

"Anyways," Danny said, "We need to figure out whats going on, where we, the syndicate, our friends, and the gems are. Can you help us?"

"Well," Nick said, "according to our scientists, you all seem to be having a strange form of quantum energy emitting from you that's probably do to traveling through the portal. We are currently having our satellites trace the whole planet for any sides of that same energy. All we can do now is wait for results."

"Um, director." Jimmy said. "Is there any any places call Retroville, Amity Park, Dimmsdale, or Bikini Bottom in this world?"

"I don't believe so." Nick said.

"Then that proves it." Jimmy said. He turned to his friends. "We're in a different world."

Just then, the door the soldiers were guarding opened up and another S.H.I.E.L.D. soldier came out. "Director Fury." the soldier said. "The scanners just picked up a massive source of the quantum energy the kids are giving off."

"Call Spidey and the rest of the team." Nick said. "Tell them to investigate."

"Yes sir." The soldier said before leaving the room.

The Nicktoons then looked at each other. "Spidey?" Danny said.

Sixteen year old Peter Parker lied asleep in his bed. Everything was quiet until his watch started beeping. Peter woke up, picked it up and press a button on the side of the watch and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Phil Coulson, appeared on the screen. "Spider man. Get up." Phil said.

"Ooooohhhhh, Phil." Peter said half awake, "It's the middle of night. Call the Avengers or something."

"This is serious, Pete." Phil said, "Or do I have to show Nova thank embarrassing footage S.H.I.E.L.D. got when we had all those cameras in your house."

Peter's eyes widen and shot out of bed. "Okay. Okay. Lets not do anything crazy." Peter said. "What do you need?"

It was dark in central park. Nobody was there except for five teenage superheroes: Peter Parker a.k.a Spider man, Sam Alexander a.k.a. Nova, Ava Ayala a.k.a. White Tiger, Luke cage a.k.a. Power man, and Danny Rand-K'ai a.k.a. Iron Fist. They were headed into the wooded area of the Park.

The bugs were out and Spider man was getting bitten by them. "These stupid bugs won't leave me alone." he said, "One spider bite is enough."

"One Spider 'man' is also enough." Nova said.

"I still can't believe I'm missin the game for this." Power man said. "Just cause some kids from another dimension come into ours, doesn't mean I should be bothered while I'm busy."

"Focus." White Tiger said. She held a PDA in her hand. "It says that the source of that strange quantum energy..." she clawed through bushes and pond lied in front of them. "... is right down there. Someone's going to have to go in." There was a brief silence. "Not it!" White Tiger said.

"Not it!" Nova said.

"Not it!" Iron Fist said.

"Not it!" Power man said.

"Not- uhhh, dang it!" Spider man said last. After sighing and taking a deep breathe he dived into the pond. Normally, no one would be able to see a thing, but Spider man saw a bright light at the bottom of the lake. He assumed it was the source of energy and swam towards it at full speed so he can out of the lake faster.

Meanwhile on dry land, the team heard rustling in the bushes they looked around and saw nothing. However, in the bushes, a pair of red eyes looked at them.

Spidey stuck his head and right arm out of the pond with a purple gem in his right hand. "Hey guys I found-," Spidey started to say but gasped when he saw his team laying on the ground knocked out. "-it."

Spider man jumped out of the pond and stood in the middle of his knocked out friends. He looked around and saw nothing. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his stomach like he had just been punched there. The pain was so much that he blacked out. The gem fell out of Spider man's hand and rolled toward a robot who picked it up.

The robot's head was shaped like a triangle that had two, animal like, metal ears sticking out. The robot's sclera (part of eye that surrounded the pupil) was black and his pupils were glowing red. It's upper body was entirely round and was the size of a ball with a black hole in the middle with a yellow outer layer. It had a rocket on his back and blue, metal arms and legs. It had grey, metal hands with claws and yellow on the back of each hand and it's feet were red shoes. The robot was the size of a twelve year old child.

The robot looked at the purple gem closely. Suddenly the robot froze and its grip opened dropping the emerald. The robot looked like it was shorting out. Red numbers appeared in the robot's eyes. Then, it shut down.

After a few seconds the robot powered up. Its eyes turn green and it lets out a familiar evil laugh. "Ha ha ha ha." The robot said in a familiar tone. "I, Technus, have now complete control over this fine work of machinery!" Technus said. "This robot defiantly has a unique energy in it. The syndicate could use it to-," before he could finish he heard beeping in his head. He put his new robotic left hand on his head. "Hello? Yeah I got the gem and the guy in the red and blue suit you mentioned did come. He's knocked out along with five other teens." He listened to the voice in his head for a few seconds. "Okay." Technus walked over to some bushes. "But what will a sample of his D.N.A. do." Technus came out of the bush with a needle in his right hand. "I'll find out? Okay. But this better work, doctor." Technus said.

He walked over to the knocked out hero. Technus knelt down and raised his needle.
