Description Story: Tangled in the Weaver's Web
Tangled in the Weaver's Web,Ariana had always been an adventurous girl, with a thirst for exploration and a fearless spirit. But her curiosity had led her into a dark forest one day, where she stumbled upon an old and mysterious hut. Inside, she found an exquisite tapestry, woven from shimmering threads of gold and silver.Drawn to the tapestry's beauty, Ariana reached out to touch it – only to activate a trap door, and she found herself falling into a deep pit!Several feet she fell, but her landing was saved by a sticky web of silk. She looked up to see the weaver, looming over her with huge dripping fags. ,But, it didn't kill her. A few days went by, and it felt like an eternity. And she watched in terror as the villainous weaver added more and more victims to her collection, each one trapped in a glistening cocoon of silk. She had long since given up hope of escape, resigned to her fate as the spider's next meal.Strangely, the spider left her alone for most of the day.Even stranger, every time the spider returned, it brought her food: some dead rats and other small fauna, some mushrooms, and strange, unidentifiable plants from the jungle.,At first, Ariana had been terrified, certain that the spider was toying with her before it finally decided to eat her. And she was repulsed by the thought of eating anything the spider had touched. But as the days turned into weeks, she grew increasingly desperate, her stomach gnawing with hunger. And so, she forced herself to eat. Ignoring the rats, she ate the plants, choking down mostly dry, but some slimy with sap that added a bit of flavor. For the most part she was trying not to gag. Still hungry, she had to eat some mushrooms too. Although she had been warned about eating mushrooms from the jungle since she was a kid. The mushrooms made her sleepy and woozy, but it also dulled some of the fear. But still, each day tested her strength and her will to survive. And she persisted, driven by the hope of one day escaping the spider's lair and returning to the world above. ,Some of the mushrooms the spider brought one day seem to have given her an extra boost of strength, and her imagination was flowing like never before. She noticed for instance that the web around her was growing stronger, thicker, and dark as she was rolling around in soot and dirt on the ground. She found a few ways to improve this, to make it even stronger and more pliable. She also remembered several aerial silk acrobatic lessons from dance class. Slowly but surely, she began to gain control over the web, learning to manipulate it with her hands and feet, using it to support her weight and even climb the cave. And then, finally, the day arrived. She felt ready to take on the long climb. But instead, she waited for the spider to return once more, and the woman was ready. With a fierce cry, she attacked the spider with all the strength and fury of the silk, tearing it apart with a savage joy that she couldn't explain. She realized that something had changed within her. Something dark & insidious was emerging.Could it have been the mushrooms? Mixed with the poison from long ago? Something was filling her with a dark, all-consuming hunger that she couldn't ignore. Conquering the spider in its nest had felt pretty exciting, more than it should. It no longer creeped her out, but she wasn't going to eat the spider. And she still avoided getting goo on her. Spiders are not her type.,And so, she remained in the cave, surrounded by the web that she had learned to control so well. She no longer waited for the spider to return, for she had become the spider, waiting for something to fall into her dark web. And sometimes stalking through the dark corners of forest outside, seeing prey and mushrooms. Then one day, she stumbled upon something that surprised her. In the corner of the cave, nestled in a bed of silk, she found a clutch of spider eggs, tiny and fragile and so very vulnerable. She felt something shift inside her, a strange maternal instinct that she had never felt before. She knew, somehow, that these eggs were hers to protect, that she had a duty to keep them safe and warm and nurtured until they hatched. She also felt like she could control giant spiders very well, and she could milk them for silk when she needs more. And so, she stayed in the cave, watching over the eggs and caring for them. And as the weeks turned into months, she began to dream of a world where she could live freely with her spiderlings, a world where she could reign supreme as queen of the spiders.,
