Description
This is a before and after for my first B&W to color piece. It's a pic of my Dad when he was 5 years old. I wanted to create a colored version for a Christmas present but didn't want to pay a professional. So I did a little bit of reading and took a stab at it. It took me about 4-5 hours. I used a combination of Photoshop CS5, Corel, and the Topaz adjust plug in.

I thought it turned out well, so I figured I'd slap it up on Deviant Art.

Anyone who critiques please feel free to suggest any improvements that can be made and the process by which I could improve it. Or just hook me up with some links to good tuts or whatever.
