Olan and The Cloudy Town

Pivola Town, such a town whose always covered by a clouds as if it would rain anytime. The townfolks would never seen the sun, only if they went out to another town they could felt the sunlight. Even their fields never green because no sun shone in Pivola Town.

Once told, in the town live an artist, who work with his brush to paint. His name is Olan. He is the only townfolk who think those dark clouds are georgeus. “Such a splendid clouds! Because everything in the whole universe is beautiful if we enjoy them.” Said Olan to townfolks. But sadly, the townfolks just ignoring him.

“Huh! Clouds only make our town darker and darker!” replied the townfolks. “Weird Olan!” another townfolk said.

Among the whole townfolk who never smile, Olan is the only one who had a bright face enjoying those dark clouds of Pivola Town. Because of those brightful face, Olan is hated by Townfolks.

Untill one day, when Olan said to a kid “Look! Those clouds are beautiful, aren’t they?”

And those kid replied with sadness in his eyes “Clouds are dark, and never be beautiful, that’s why noone would believe Olan!”

Heard such a pitiful answer form an innocent kids, made Olan’s deepest heart cried like a heaviest rain.

As soon as those kids left, thunder clap heard in the corner of Pivola Town. Just like Olan’s heart, the clouds once again pour a heavy rain. And Olan alone in the street in the middle of a heaviest rain.

Days and Nights came in circle, Olan graving in sadnees. Untill he came with an idea.

Olan made a stair from the woods, the longest stair he ever made, until those stair reach the dark clouds. With all colors he had, he climb the stair. He drew a colorful line art in the clouds.
Looking at his hard work, a painting in the clouds. Olan proud for himself. Not for his biggest painting nor for his master piece, because all of the smile townfolk drew in their face, when they gaze upon the dark cloud of Pivola Town.
