Aww... haters gonna hate, but I prefer her to
be a Princess rather than a president ><
And thus... My first ever piece in 2013 is a fan art
Tribute to Wreck-it Ralph!
I appreciate some comments stating that my

It just happens that I have a very excellent brush in Photoshop, is all
.... In terms of improving, I do intend on becoming better

The lyrics of Sugar Rush not only
fits into the film as one of its main themes, but
it has a wonderful meaning as well!
It goes something like this:
The speedway may not always be smooth

but let's do our best to make our journey

Well... Vanellope isnt just a REGULAR racer
Thus it makes sense that she has a formal racing outfit for herself

Still... I'd have dressed her in something more in the Sugar Rush candy-racer style. Not her princess dress, 'cause that would have completely spoiled the twist that she's the princess. It's kind of strange to people looking at the game consol to see this kid dressed in a pretty much standard style racing outfit, then look at the avatar choices and see she's the only one who dresses like that.

... And seeing as Vanellope had never ever raced before Ralph came,
I'm thinking she's supposed to be a Bonus/ Legendary/ hidden character in the game,
that need to be "unlocked" in some way, in order to be playable.
So in the first place, she might never have been included in the regular selection rosters.
... That's my analysis.

Well... not in memory. Or maybe she hadn't raced ever. Wasn't the game supposed to be pretty new at that point? Maybe Turbo highjacked the game right when it was plugged in.
I bet she was supposed to be blatently the princess. But maybe one did have to unlock her somehow. I can see that happening! It would explain her having two outfits. The dress for when she's in the stands "locked", then her racing outfit when she's been unlocked.
It's possible!

you have a point, but I wonder if the fact that
she's a princess is supposed to be a secret in the first place.
The so-called Sugar Rush game makers must have intended to
blatantly inform the gamers (in the movie) of Vanellope's royal status
if they actually put her picture on the console display.
The only reason why nobody realizes she's a princess (or that she exist at all)
is because Turbo messed with the program, which nobody knew about that.

Maybe. I don't know how much "story" they put into the Sugar Rush game.
