Alright, you guys probably guessed that this was coming from the polls, but here's the result.
In my free time when I just want background noise I tend to look up other mlp speedpaints and run those while I'm drawing.
These are the main people I watch, though I didn't always remember the names between all the links I click. (Hence the polls)
The other thing I needed was an OC I could draw.
Either way, let's start at the top.
And poor Midnight being crushed by everyone. I was originally going to use my ponysona, but more people know Midnight.
(I also love how Tsitra is, like, the only dude in the picture)

Your anatomy skills.. I've been trying to do a picture very similar to this for my own friends though it never quite work...

Hmmmm. They are similar but at the same time you can also look at Starburst from Kilala97 and they all have very similar colors.
It's what happens when you mix Flash Sentry and Twilight.
Without proper proof I don't want to point any fingers in that direction.

Wow. I just... Wow. I looked at Starburst, and that is just Nova Star, in a different 'style'. I'm not trying to be rude, but they look identical, which makes me wonder why they couldn't make 'original' OCs. Like your's, they are cool and original. At least I think so.

Though technically from what I've seen Starburst was made first, so wouldn't that mean Nova looks like her, not the other way around?
Either way, that look is literally just Flash's body color and a mix of both parents hair colors. Hence why I'm not going to point any fingers as far as the whole 'copying' stance. But I'm far more familiar with Starburst and they seem to have a bit more character for her.
And there's a difference in the types of OCs we've made. Their OCs are of a nextgen type. They are making children based off of already established canon characters, so therefore the outcomes are going to be more similar.
Whereas my characters aren't related to any canon characters at all, meaning they have a little more freedom to deviate from a set pair of parental designs.
Both are valid ways to do it.
