The 1978 Hobie Starship has one of my favorite deck graphics of its era. The incentive to make a reproduction of it is that I've wanted to acquire an original for years but came to realise they're so rare that it's highly unlikely I'd acquire one. If I can't have an original then I can at least make a reproduction of one.
They came in two sizes 29" x 10" and 31" x 10". I chose to make a reproduction of the shorter one as I like that 'fat' look of decks from that era.
