Acrylic on paper.This is a painting I did for for an illustration promotional portfolio I produced well over a decade ago. It was intended as my version of a book cover illustration for the J.G. Ballard novel The Drowned World. I've left a compositional space of sky at the top half of the picture as that would be where the text of a book cover would be.
