A few months ago, I debuted my Kingsguard outfit at ConCarolinas in Charlotte, NC. George RR Martin was there attending some panels and I, along with several other (awesome) GoT cosplayers, were asked to take part in a photoshoot with Mr. Martin for the New York Times.
