Description
He drawled, his voice as gravelly as the road beneath his tires. "You know, this ain't exactly the safest place to be wanderin' around, especially as night falls."
The traveler paused, turning towards the man with a look of confusion.
"Wild animals," the man explained, pointing towards the thick woods that bordered the field. "Coyotes, bobcats, and the occasional black bear. They're not too friendly to strangers."
The traveler nodded, his eyes flickering towards the treeline with a newfound wariness. "Thanks for the warning," he said, his voice rough from disuse.
The man gave a nod, preparing to drive off. As he did, he called out one last piece of advice. "Stay safe out there, stranger. Nature's beautiful, but she sure ain't always kind."
With that, he drove off, leaving the traveler alone once more in the wild grass field, with only the rustling of the wind for company.
