Description
There was once a bee constellation (Apis), and it was, in fact, situated between the well known Aries the Ram, and Perseus the Hero. They were great friends until Apis got turned into a fly named Musca Borealis*. This greatly upset Aries, but he remained by his friend's side. Eventually Apis/Musca-B fell into disuse and faded from imagination, therefore fading from Aries' sight. There's no constellation there now, just an empty patch of stars.

*There's a Southern Hemisphere equivalent to this former constellation. It was called Musca Australis (meaning 'south') until Musca-B was discarded, then the name was shortened to just 'Musca'.
