Big head and big knees because she's leaning forward into the camera.
What does the hand matter? Neither of them are visible. There is a lot else to focus on other than her hands...

The perspective is exaggerated. I would like to know what focal length you used here, as imho there is perspective distortion.
The problem for me is that the hands are in the shot, but only partly. This is compounded by the fact that the arms (especially her left) are hard lines in the composition which draw the eye, and the lines end somewhat unexpectedly.
