I love the show Gravity Falls a lot more than I love this drawing. If you don't watch it you should because it's fantastic. Grunkle Stan is 100% my favorite character.

So, still new to my cintiq and the wonderful (albeit mystifying) world of digital art, who here can see what went terribly wrong and made this "quick sketch" into a two week long pain-train of frustration to finish? That would be that if you draw directly on the canvas layer you hereby stop getting layer privileges and lose all claims to life insurance probably. Not only does this make coloring an almighty chore- but it also makes copy-pasting to a new canvas a big-solid-color-framing-disaster. I apologize for that, but I DID try to make it better with that nice distracting SPLATTER BRUSH BACKGROUND.
