Tylas and Yarrow in a temple of Shathaz on the borders of vast elf-occupied Tanglewood forest in the Tribes of Shathaz region of the Kozosht world.

Elves are not native to the Shathaz lands; in fact, they invaded the region a thousand years ago and fight regular battles with the indigenous goblin-like tribes who have called it home time out of mind. This scene is after one such battle.

Close observers will note the similarity between Tylas and Yarrow and "Tyler" and "Yasuo" (below). I make no apologies for appropriating those vaguely defined, and lazily named, characters (and the Tanglewood forest) for a Kozosht world story. They deserved better.
