Description
Apocolyptus is an ancient wyvern that is very rare. It is huge, with a very long tail, and very durable black scales. Not much is known, except that it lives in the highest mountains that no mortal man could traverse. The Apocolyptus is said to breath death down upon any who see it, which is how it is merely passed off as legend. Many adventurers and even dragon slayers have fell to The Apocolyptus. It is said that Apocolyptus rarely gives offspring, as young Apocolyptus' are said to be extremely violent as soon as they hatch, which causes them to try and kill their parent. Apocolyptus is said to live for 500 years, and stays in it's prime until the 490 year mark, in which it's aging process kicks into overdrive as it grows old, and it's wings liquefy until the inner flesh is exposed.

At the end of there lifespan, Apocolyptus will stock up food, and live the rest of it's days to nurture it's eggs before they die, in which the newborn Apocolyptus' will devour their parent. It is said to take a century for them to grow into adults, after which, they will see each other as enemies, and will fight until there is only one of them left. This is due to their huge aggression, seeing everything as food or foe. Apocolyptus usually hunt large wyverns, but sometimes come down and slaughter towns and villages. The Apocolyptus can breath black-ish green flames, that can reach temperatures well above 2000 degree's. It is unknown how it's able to make it's fire a different color, but no one dares to find out. The Apocolyptus is a wyvern that only the most strongest of warriors could take on.
