Description
This month's topic was Man vs. Beast. I chose it...but that didn't help. I spent a lot of time on a different idea that I scrapped completely. This, once again, left me to finish my submission within a single day, cutting it down to the wire. You'll see places where I just left it a sketchy mess...but it's not without it's appeal.The dragon, I made up on the fly.
Not exactly a masterpiece but it was a bit of fun and I think it's actually growing on me.

Originally, I was going to do Oedipus and the Sphinx at Thebes. I had a hard time getting all the elements to fit on the page (well, my scanner can only do 8.5x11"). I kept scaling down to fit everything in but then it got all distorted. Decided to go with something simpler...and I haven't drawn a dragon in ages.

Should still draw the Sphinx. Or at least something Egyptian. I haven't seen someone draw anything vaguely egyptian in ages.
