Description
Most of you already know that Rosalina is a playable character in Super Mario 3D World, in addition to Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Blue Toad (I ran outta space in panel two so I decided to put Luigi in with Daisy in the last panel).
Speaking of Daisy.. wouldn't she be pretty upset/angry that Rosalina made it into the game, but she didn't? Rosalina was an interesting addition, but it seems like Nintendo wants to confine Daisy to the spin-offs. Who knows, maybe Daisy will make it into a main Mario game someday~
(SM3DW is already released in some areas btw, so I'm late xD)

She's always been a spin-off character, since her very first game.

I think its because Daisy herself is a Peach Expy, and they probably couldn't think of a different move set for her.
I mean even in Melee and Brawl Daisy is simply a Peach outfit change.

Raises the question why we would need toads at all then. I'd FAR rather play as Peach or Daisy then nameless toad 1 or nameless toad 2

Mario - The all round character nothing special
Luigi- Highest jump and floaty fall
Toad- Fastest but lowest jump
Peach - Can float in mid air

Fair enough, although in Super Mario Bros Wii, it was pretty stupid to have two of the playable characters be Toad with no variation between them. I'd far prefer to play Daisy than either Toad.

It's weird that she hasn't made an appearance in any main games yet. The only one she 'appeared in' was Super Mario Land, and that was it.

For some reason, when I saw the teaser for Luigi's mansion: Dark Moon, I honestly thought Daisy was gonna be in it. It's kind of a shame. Maybe she'll be in.....oh who am I kidding? At this rate, the most likely appearance out of Daisy in Any mainstream Mario game will be a 2 second cameo.
