Collab with SKirbs (aka ) for her "12 Games of Christmas" 10 Month Update + 12 Games of Christmas (closed)Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I should probably start talking about my 10 month experience in both dA and in real life. Yeah, I haven't even been here for a year! Kinda scary if you think about it lol. I should be talking something about this at New Years, but I just want to get it over with and I may not be around during that time. My family is thinking of taking a trip somewhere nice hehe~How was 2014? It had its ups and downs, but the downs weren't that bad really. In real life, I'm not a very stressful pep and to be honest, I really don't have that many problems. So far, school is going well (except for an AP class lawl), life is going well, art is going well... etc. I'm happy with what's going on and what I have!
As for Christmas, it was alright haha. I got makeup, some fancy watercolors (FINALLY!), a Northface jacket (I really needed one for the weather haha), but best of all, a Kirby amiibo and Kid Icarus: Uprising! Whil (first 3 panels done by me, last 2 done by her)

The funny thing about Attract...in the 3D games, it is oddly enough represented by the Pokemon twisting left and right. The gesture certainly does not strike me as platonic.

Oh, my gosh. Those unclean minds at Game Freak...I mean, heck. They came up with Lopunny, didn't they? (I'd hate to see Mega Lopunny.) If you shared the Nostalgia Critic's opinion about Lola from Looney Tunes, she's small pudding compared to Lopunny, whose cry sounds like a woman across the bar trying to grab my attention for some quality time.
Along those lines, in the usual tradition of cat Pokemon, Delcatty is one of those Pokemon whose pre-evolution is overwhelmingly cute, but who really isn't all that easy on the eyes. However, I did have a strange thought: Delcatty lingerie sounds like a great idea. I'd hate to see my beloved Lisia in it. (It is one of those counterintuitive things...not wanting to see a love interest in a sexual situation. As complicated as it is, I think the motivation is not just wanting to "keep up appearances," but also wanting to avoid any thought that the romantic attraction is a shallow one.)

Yes...that's funny because only a handful of Pokemon got the special honor of having a Mega Evolution. (Even Raichu, the evolved form of the franchise mascot, wasn't considered special enough, to put it in perspective.) Were they that attached to Lopunny?
Going back to NC, his comment about profitable demographics is pretty funny in hindsight. I wonder how long it took before he found out just how big the furry fandom is.

They were incredibly attached to Lopunny, because the fandom is. People like how Lopunny looks. Notice that nearly all of the megas so far have been fan favorites with the most fan art dedicated to them. I swear Audino only got a mega because of the success/press behind the Black Adventures webcomic. It is unabashed pandering...and I personally love every bit of it.
I would love to see megas of other fan favorites too like Flygon, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Meganium, Lapras, Milotic, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Arcanine, Ninetales, and several other hotbeds of fandom that I can't think of at the moment. Anything that makes reasonable pokemon awesome, or unusable pokemon usable is great in my book. I would personally like to see Mega Weavile next, but I doubt it will happen (even given the large number of fans) because of Weavile's already specialized stats. Just adding more to attack would probably make it broken, and adding more to speed would be kind of useless (also...with its typing, there is no way for it to be a defensive threat).

Well, what can I say? I certainly don't speak for the fandom. There are plenty of other Pokemon people love that I just don't find that appealing. Then again, the Japanese love Tingle! People can like anything, apparently. (Speaking of the Japanese, everyone remember that whatever direction Nintendo goes with Pokemon is probably going to be slanted toward that market simply because it's close to home and, in fact, Nintendo's employees are naturally part of that market. This is why the anime seems really kiddy over here; we're just getting thrown under the bus.)
